Ceremonial Tattoo with Skye

Your Body is your Temple. Your Earth Temple. .

Held within a ceremonial container, this is a tattoo with intention. I work with a handpoke tattoo method, one dot at a time. It is a slower and more intentional process. Each poke of the needle opens up a chance for release, and an opportunity to place your intention into the ink.

We use this ceremony to invite in intentions, energies, dreams whilst also creating space for release of old energies. This process can be a prayer, and invocation and a deep inner journey to facilitate transformation, healing, growth and alchemy.

Through hand poke tattoo, we mark the body with sacred symbols and shapes through a process of intention and ceremony. Using a hand poking technique to tattoo the skin. This technique is gentle and less invasive on the skin than using a machine. It is the feminine way of tattooing (not just for women), but in energetics. Gentle, soft and powerful.

The process begins with an initial consultation where we discuss your intentions/inspirations and body placement. I will then channel a design that weaves all of these aspects together and we will work together until the design feels complete.

    What a truly magical journey with the wonderful Skye. Skye captured everything I had talked about before my appointment in my handpoke design. The day of my handpoke was set out so beautifully in an awesome yurt within a forest. A beautiful altar for offerings and thanks. Skye took me on a drumming meditation weaving my intentions that I'd shared. The handpoke felt like such a release of so many things and wasn't painful  at all. There was plenty of time for a rest and drink when I needed. The whole day was just a cocoon of feeling held, nutured and empowered.

    I have been on quite the journey since my  Wintering tree rooted in her power on sacred lands ,bathed in a crescent moon, hung low in the sky and never in darkness, was gently imprinted. I was stalked by a buzzard on  the day of my tattoo till about a week later.
    Since then I have shed, healed and transformed.

    Skye created a piece so meaningful and held a sacred space so beautifully in the heart of a magical forest.
